दुआ -Prayer

ए खुदा एक खामूश सी ख्वाइश है मेरी,
हो सके तो करदे उसे पूरी |
ये न कहूँ मैं गम ना दे तू कभी,
पर दे गर तो सहने की ताकत भी देना सही |

उम्र के साथ तजुर्बा है जुड़ा,
वक्त के साथ ज़िन्दगी के पल |
आंसू गर देना है किसी को,
तो वो ख़ुशी के हो ज्यादा, यही दुआ है मेरी |

I have a silent wish O’Lord
grant me the same if you can.
I don’t ask for no sorrow,
but if it has to, then please give the strength to bear that.
With age you gain experience,
With passing time you, you gain moments of life.
If you have to give the tears O’lord
please that be more of happiness is I pray.
